Health and Counseling Services
The MIT Student Health Plans consists of on-campus medical services covered by a mandatory student health fee, which is included in the tuition, and hospital and accident insurance, for which all students are enrolled unless they demonstrate that they have equivalent coverage through another insurance program. Additional coverage is available for spouses and dependents.
MIT offers many sources of academic and personal counseling, including departmental faculty advisors, deans, international student advisors, and religious counselors.
Security & Safety
